Shred Method represents a modern approach to instrumental metal and rock, blending elements of progressive metal, instrumental rock, blues-rock, and fusion. His music is characterized by technical precision, fast guitar passages, melodic development, and dynamic contrast.
Nichik performs in clubs, concert halls, and festival stages, presenting guitar-centered instrumental compositions with a strong emphasis on timbre, articulation, and technique.
He is also the founder of Shred Method Academy, a guitar school dedicated to modern rock and metal education, technical development, and player training.
As a live performer, he uses several electric guitars, selecting a specific instrument and tuning it for each song. His arsenal includes standard and alternate tunings such as Eb, C#, Drop D, Drop C, Double Drop D, Open D, Open C, and Open G, as well as variations using frequencies of 440 Hz and 432 Hz.
Over the course of his career, Nichik has amassed a collection of over 37 guitars, primarily from Dean Guitars, including the exclusive Heaven and Hells series with custom airbrushed artwork and a diamond-encrusted fretboard. During live performances, he typically uses between 8 and 14 instruments.
